Sony Ericsson And WTA Tour Unveil On-Court Branding

New on-court branding for Sony Ericsson has been unveiled at the first global tournaments in the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. The branding is part of the six-year title sponsorship deal signed by Sony Ericsson in January. Cell Phone Calls For Airbus Fliers

European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has signed a deal to give passengers of its new superjumbo A380 the option to make calls with their cell phones or surf the web. The agreement, with Geneva-based OnAir, hopes to keep prices competitive, with international calls at $2.00 to $2.50 per minute, and text messages costing about 50 cents to send or receive. Last night, the Sony Ericsson V800 camera phone was awarded the prestigious award for "Best 3G Handset" during the GSM Association's 2005 Awards evening at the 3GSM World Congress. This is the second year in a row that Sony Ericsson has taken home a product award; in 2004 the T610 was awarded "Best handset, terminal or device."
