Nokia today announced that it has started deliveries of the Nokia 6680, introduced just one month ago at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France. Optimized for visual sharing, the Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone boasts a wide array of features including two integrated cameras, a flash, the Nokia XpressPrint printing solution, an active slide for easy camera activation and a bright screen of up to 262,144 colors. The device will be available in markets across Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

Research In Motion (RIM) and NTP today announced that they have signed a binding term sheet that resolves all current litigation between them. As part of the resolution, NTP will grant RIM and its customers an unfettered right to continue its BlackBerry-related wireless business without further interference from NTP or its patents. NTP and RIM will be finalizing the terms of this resolution in a definitive licensing and settlement agreement in upcoming weeks.
