Motorola and 3, the UK's first video mobile network, today announced the latest 3G clamshell to join the 3 range, the V975. This video mobile makes the most of 3's multi-media services from video messaging and video-calling to watching the latest full-length music videos and goals from the Barclays Premiership.

Firefly Mobile has developed a cell phone aimed at kids, filling the gap high-end phones leave by providing a convenient way for children to stay in touch with family.

At CeBIT, Siemens Communications launches the M75, a robust GSM mobile phone that offers all the convenience of a modern multimedia mobile phone for outdoor communication; the solid metal frame and rubber cushions of the unique Siemens Protection System provide the optimum protection against splashes, dust and shocks. This successor to the M65 features a 1.3 megapixel digital camera and a bright color display, as well as a media player for viewing photos or videos and listening to music via the MP3 player. With the M65 Rescue Edition, Siemens Communications presents the world's first mobile phone designed specifically for use by firefighters and other emergency service personnel. The fire-red version of the rugged M65 outdoor phone uses a characteristic siren sound as a ringtone. In addition, when a call is received the LEDs along the side emulate a flashing blue light.
