Opportunities for Wireless Devices in the Tween Segment

More Landline Users Willing to Switch to Wireless Phones

Verizon Wireless and Sprint Users Can Now Exchange Messages

NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs Sues Carriers for Deceptive Ads

New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) Acting Commissioner Jonathan Mintz today announced the agency has filed suit in New York Supreme Court against three major wireless companies for pitching cell phones and services in deceptive advertisements that misled consumers. MMCmicro Card Specification Finalized

The MultiMediaCard Association (MMCA) today announced that it has finalized the MMCmicro specification at its recent Summer General Meeting in Zurich, Switzerland. The new MMCmicro Cards represent the third MultiMediaCard form factor, along with MMCplus and MMCmobile Cards. Measuring 12 x 14 x 1.1 mm, they are about one-third the size of MMCmobile Cards.
