Qualcomm and Boeing Test In-Flight Cell Phone Use

Qualcomm and Connexion, a business unit of The Boeing Company, announced today that they are working together to test and demonstrate in-flight wireless communications aboard Connexion One, a specially equipped Boeing 737-400 aircraft. American Tower and SpectraSite Agree To Merge

Verizon Ranks Highest in Call Quality in 5 of 6 Regions

Despite an increase in wireless calling volume, the average number of initial connection problems has dropped 50 percent compared to 2004, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Wireless Call Quality Performance StudySM released today.
