CompUSA and Nokia have created the "Nokia Experience @ CompUSA", a unique concept which brings a collection of the most advanced Nokia wireless devices together in one place. Movie theater owners are aggressively trying to lure movie-goers back into cinemas by petitioning the FCC to allow blocking cell phone service in theaters.
Spearheaded by the National Association of Theater Owners (NATO), John Fithian President of NATO said theater owners "have to block rude behavior" to encourage customers to come back who have stayed home to avoid the aggravation of mobile distractions.

Ten years ago, it was the Internet that threw the telecom, media and marketing worlds into chaos. Starting next year, it will be the mobile phone, according to a new report released today.
Internet research firm eMarketer forecasts that the number of US consumers who watch TV programming on mobile phones will rise to 15 million in 2009, up substantially from only 1.2 million this year.

More Americans than ever are using cell phones while driving according to a study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Driver cell phone use increased in 2005, with 6 percent of drivers on handheld phones in 2005 nationwide compared to 5 percent in 2004.
