Sony Ericsson and Google today announced that they have worked closely together to integrate Google's Blogger and Web Search features on Sony Ericsson mobile phones. The two companies are the first in the industry to provide a pre-loaded blog application with a tight integration to the mobile camera and intuitive automatic set-up for consumers who do not already have a personal blog. The first Sony Ericsson products to offer the new service are the recently announced K610 UMTS phone and new flagship imaging handsets, the K800 and K790a, announced today and available in Q2 2006.

Sprint today announced a partnership with MTV Networks to bring hit music, comedy and entertainment programming from CMT, MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central to Sprint TV. In addition to offering subscribers select clips, Sprint becomes the first domestic wireless service to stream the CMT, MTV and VH1 radio stations.

Judge James Spencer today said he would not impose an immediate injunction against Research In Motion (RIM), maker of the BlackBerry. RIM received a copy of a Final Office Action issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the reexamination of NTP, Inc. Patent #5,436,960. This Final Office Action maintains the outright and complete rejection of all claims in the patent.
