Verizon Wireless announced today the newest flavors of Chocolate by LG - Cherry and Mint.
The new Chocolates feature the same sleek, ultra-thin minimalist style, glowing red, touch sensitive keypad and silky-smooth slider design as the popular black Chocolate, but with a tasty red or green finish. Customers now have four color options from which to satisfy their Chocolate craving - Cherry, Mint, White and the traditional Black.

Samsung announced today that it has developed the thinnest reported LCD panel. Measuring no thicker than a credit card at 0.82 mm, the new LCD is 0.07 mm thinner than the panel previously reported to be the world's slimmest.
To achieve the slimmer size, Samsung's Mobile Display Team redesigned the light guide plate subassembly and the glass substrate, which accounted for most of the LCD module's thickness.

Cingular today unveiled the Samsung BlackJack, a robust, slim smart device with the familiar look and feel of Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0.

Motorola said today it is buying Good Technology Inc., which provides computing software and services for smartphones and other handheld devices.
Good Technology, based in Santa Clara, is a strategic addition to Motorola's Mobile Devices business. Sony Ericsson said today it is acquiring UIQ Technology AB, the maker of software featured on many of Sony Ericsson's high-end handsets, from Symbian Ltd.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Symbian, UIQ's software provides a user interface for the Symbian platform, which is one of the most widely used operating system for advanced cell phones.
