Vertu has launched a new phone, the Vertu Ascent Ferrari 1947 Limited Edition, to commemorate Ferrari's 60th Anniversary. Using hand-polished titanium for the chassis the special limited edition draws inspiration from Ferrari GT cars that embody strength, durability and high-level performance. Nokia today revealed the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic, a 3G smartphone augmented by a dedicated audio chip for enhanced music performance. The 5700 features a twist design that switches between four modes at the flick of the wrist - music player, 2.0-megapixel camera, video call and smartphone.

Visa sees cell phones as the best way to expand electronic payments, CEO John Philip Coghlan announced today, where he also revealed ties with several wireless technology companies.
Taking the stage in Orlando in front of several thousand attendees, Coghlan detailed the steps Visa is taking to advance mobile payments, such as the recently announced Visa mobile platform. Samsung Electronics today announced an 8.4-megapixel CMOS image sensor (CIS) with a 1.4umpixel design at Samsung's fourth annual Mobile Solution Forum.
