Sprint today launched the Samsung M510 and M300, both devices including a quality camera, Bluetooth technology, easy-to-use menus and multimedia capabilities.
Operating on the Sprint Mobile Broadband network, the M510 provides access to Sprint's multimedia content, including Sprint Music Store, offering over-the-air music downloads. The M510 supports Sprint TV with more than 50 channels of television programming, more than 20 of them with live content.

Motorola today announced its new ROKR Z6, a Linux/Java music phone with Windows Media technologies, including Windows Media Audio (WMA) Windows Media DRM 10, and media transfer protocol (MTP). The ROKR Z6 lets consumers "plug and play" with any personal computer running Windows Media Player 10 or 11. Motorola today announced the debut of the Z8, featuring video capture and playback at 30 frames per second and up to 32 GB of expandable memory. As the first kick slider, the Motorola Z8 will allow users to get mobile TV, video and music all on one device. Sprint announced today that ABC today will make available episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty on video-equipped phones, along with Disney Channel series such as Hannah Montana, ABC News' Nightline and other programming.

In an effort to encourage consumers to save electricity, Nokia has launched phones with alerts informing users to unplug the charger once the battery is full.
Nokia decided to put the alerts into mass markets products first to help maximize the potential energy savings. Mobile phones sounding a beep and displaying an alert - "Battery is full, please unplug the charger" - could save enough electricity to power 85,000 homes annually, Nokia said.

AT&T today announced the availability of the AT&T 8525 Pocket PC, a re-branded and upgraded version of the Cingular 8525, now offering additional services such as AT&T Push-to-Talk (PTT), Cellular Video and AT&T Mobile Music.

Pantech today announced the launch of the IM-R200 handset, a dual-LCD sliding phone equipped with an OLED touch-sensitive screen.
Separated from its main LCD display, the IM-R200 does away with the standard keypad in favor of a brand-new LCD-typed keypad. When sliding up, the virtual keypad shows up on the LCD that is touch-sensitive, allowing users to dial numbers and view contacts with a stroke of a finger.
Its touch keypad offers a fun and easy way to use its multimedia applications with separate and virtual interfaces for each function. For example, the touch sensitive LCD displays various lists of songs when the phone is used as a music player, while it shows camera functions when used as a camera.
