BlackBerry smartphones continue to be the choice of corporate users, according to a report by ChangeWave. The corporate IT spending survey indicated nearly three-in-four respondents (73%) cited Research In Motion (RIM), the manufacturer of the popular BlackBerry devices, as their company's smartphone.

Sprint today announced the Simply Everything plan, a domestic unlimited pricing plan that gives customers unlimited voice, data, text, email, Web-surfing, Sprint TV, Sprint Music, GPS Navigation, Direct Connect and Group Connect for $99.99 a month.

The total value of the global mobile music market is expected to rise to more than $17.5 billion by 2012, driven by rental music services and full-track downloads, according to a new report by Juniper Research.

Living tissue responds to cell phone radiation, according to a new study by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK). While earlier studies have shown that cell phone radiation alters protein expression and activity in human endothelial cell line, STUK's new study for the first time has examined whether radiation will cause changes in protein expression in living people.

Sprint today announced Nextel Direct Connect with "push-to-x" capabilities, bringing NextMail's push-to-send voice messages to email addresses, and Direct Send's push-to-send pictures or contact info.

AT&T today announced new voice plans for unlimited U.S. calling on all devices with no domestic roaming or long distance charges, available for $99.99 a month.
Existing customers can choose unlimited calling without extending their contract. New customers have the option of a month-to-month, 12 or 24 month contract.

T-Mobile today announced a plan that includes unlimited nationwide wireless calling and unlimited nationwide messaging for $99.99 per month, available beginning Thursday, Feb. 21.
With this new plan, domestic roaming and long distance charges are included. Unlimited messaging includes text messages (SMS), picture messages (MMS) and instant messages (IM).
