Weighing at just 85 grams, the SLVR supports EDGE high-speed transfer rates over 300 kbps, push-to-talk walkie-talkie access, Bluetooth Class 2 wireless connectivity, J2ME downloadable games, and Wireless Village instant messaging chat.

Additionally it will be supplied with a 176 x 220 px TFT screen displaying up to 262K colors, built-in VGA camera with 4x zoom and video capture and playback, and integrated MP3 player.

According to Motorola, the SLVR will come with 5 MB of internal memory with a TransFlash slot providing up to 256 MB of removable memory cards.

First mentioned at the quarterly shareholders meeting in January, the SLVR L7 is part of Motorola's growing portfolio of razor-thin phones.

Expected to be launched Q3 2005, no official pricing has not been released on the SLVR L7.

I was looking forward to a design that would be more futuristic like the phone that slides open used in the Movie "Matrix",not something that so backwards in design concept that calling it Ugly is being to kind. All of the Motorola Edge phone do not have Proffesional Installation hands free car kits available. But most of Motorola's other phones have the car kits available. At around $575.00 or more I'll pass on this phone .Especially when my v551 does everything the Edge phones do at a much cheaper price and available accessories (ie.Car kits),Plus I will not be embarrased being seen with the v551 clipped on my belt.

Push to talk is only available on Nextel Phones and Service. It would be nice if Cingular picked up push to talk/walki-talki service,But I do not see it happening.Nextel and Sprint PCS are Merging if your interested in that route. icon_wacko.gif

It does like ugly. In addition, I am not much of a black casing fan. icon_sick.gif
