Celebrity presenters and performers at the 77th Annual Academy Awards will get the gift of global gab this year with the inclusion of the new Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790) in their official Oscar gift baskets. One of Sprint's latest multimedia devices - which is not yet available in stores - will keep A-listers connected to their "people" even when traveling to promote their next big movies!
Phillip Bloch, Hollywood's premier fashion stylist, deems the new Sprint PCS Phone from Samsung red-carpet worthy. "The competition can step aside. There's a new diva of wireless devices in town!" proclaims Bloch, who is covering the red carpet for CNN this year. "This new Sprint / Samsung phone is like a mini-TV, a camera / camcorder and a personal organizer rolled into one sleek package. With this phone, you're the ultimate winner!"The feature-rich phone supports Sprint PCS Video Mail, Picture Mail, multimedia streaming services and text messaging, and is equipped with a full-color TFT main and sub-display, both with 262K colors; an MPEG4 video screen saver; internal phone book that stores up to 500 contacts; and advanced voice-recognition capabilities. This comes at the heels of Motorola's announcement that it will include its BLZR - Black RAZR - phone in gift baskets as well.
