Wed Mar 09, 2005 1:54 pm

Siemens Communications has dubbed its new mid-range CF75 clamshell mobile phone the "voice of reason." Sleek lines give this compact triband model a classic pure style and harmonious look that will endure long. It also boasts a superlative price / performance ratio. In addition to a large color display, its contemporary features also include a VGA camera with flash attachment, multimedia messaging (MMS), an e-mail client and various organizer functions as well as the latest mobile games. This successor to the CF62 is naturally also set up for Push and Talk.

Stylish design and modern technology are united in the CF75 in an understated yet distinctive way. Sleek lines in a 94 x 47.2 x 22.2 mm clamshell case make this mobile phone something of an eye-catcher. There is a small color display on the front of the phone and when opening it reveals a large, vibrant display with 65,000 colors at a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels.

The features of this new triband mobile also echo the simple elegance of its contemporary styling. A VGA digital camera with 5x zoom and flash attachment are complemented by a convenient hands-free function, polyphonic ringtones, MMS, an e‑mail client and games with 3D graphics.

The new Push and Talk function allows simultaneous calls to several friends, for instance to arrange a spontaneous get-together. In addition to infrared, the CF75 also supports the fast USB 2.0 standard for data exchange with a PC. The built-in address book holds up to 1000 entries. A 3 D phone pilot (virtual assistant) outputs reminders of important dates and lends assistance when downloading logos, ringtones and new Java applications.

With a clear menu structure and 5-way navigation button plus numerous shortcut keys for fast access to frequently used functions, operation of the CF75 couldn't be simpler. Up to 250 minutes talktime and the long standby time of 10+ days make this compact mobile phone the perfect companion.

Beside the attachable "Flash IFL-600," a wide range of Siemens Original Accessories is available for the CF75 such as the textile Case FCT-600" which keeps the mobile safe as well as a variety of headsets to keep the hands free. For the use in the car the "Car Kit Portable HKP-500" is the ideal solution.

The CF75 will be available from July 2005 starting with the color "ocean blue."
