Motorola Limited Edition Phones HIJACKED By MTV

Thu Mar 24, 2005 2:49 am

Motorola and MTV International are digitally invading the latest Motorola handsets. HIJACKED by MTV brings a brilliantly rebellious mobile experience that rewrites the rules of ringtones, alerts, screensavers, SMS / MMS templates and wallpapers to Motorola's latest youth focused handsets.

More than just new content, each Motorola handset in this limited-edition series has a truly unique interface and functionality that has been jointly developed by Motorola and MTV, specifically for the mobile-fuelled MTV generation.

The first truly youth focused handset application with the needs, aspirations and desires of young people taken into account, Motorola handsets HIJACKED by MTV, pull no punches. Updates on existing content and cutting-edge capabilities include:

- SMS templates that speak a universal language shared by young people - not their parents'
- A host of preloaded wallpapers, screensavers, phonebook IDs and skins with in-your-face characters and offbeat illustrations
- A whole range of interchangeable new skins, allowing users to personally customize the look and feel of the phone at their every whim - depending on their mood, outfit, season, time of the day -- go from "bling bling" to "camouflage" at the touch of a button!
- Brand new MTV mobile games, including the latest in the Plastikulture series
- A host of new ringtones and alerts - all HIJACKED to put a new spin on audio reality

The HIJACKED by MTV concept is the brainchild of Cristian Jofre, Senior Vice President, Creative Director, MTV Networks International, evolving the handset as we know it into a new world of mobile mystery and entertainment.

Motorola handsets HIJACKED by MTV will be available in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America / Brazil and Asia-Pacific.
