Subscribers will also get breaking news and live sports updates from NPRŽ, Sporting News, MarketWatch, Associated Press and AccuWeather. MSpot Radio is available on channel 16 for $5.95 per month.
"We are pleased be the first CDMA wireless service provider to offer live and on demand music, news and talk radio," said John Burris, director - Product Marketing and Strategy, Sprint. "MSpot brings our customers the information and entertainment programming they want directly into the palm of their hand without having to carry an additional device. MSpot Radio is another example of Sprint leading the industry in wireless multimedia content offerings."
Sprint PCS Vision customers can easily preview and purchase MSpot Radio directly from their phones through the "Available Channels" menu located on the Sprint media player. Once a user has subscribed to MSpot, it is easy to browse, select and play any of the MSpot channels through the media player. Produced and delivered by MSpot's experienced mobile media production team, MSpot Radio is optimized to deliver the highest-quality audio experience possible.
In the coming months MSpot will unveil additional premium entertainment services, including movies and mobile-exclusive original content.
"Cell phones are inherently interactive devices. MSpot's on-demand entertainment model gives consumers the ability to enjoy their favorite music and radio programs anytime, anywhere," said Daren Tsui co-founder and CEO of MSpot.
