Cingular Wireless will join thousands of die-hard Star Wars fans who are gathering in Indianapolis to attend Celebration III-the four-day convention produced by Lucasfilm and Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club. Celebration III, which kicks off April 21, is designed to celebrate the complete Star Wars saga and the much anticipated final installment, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, which opens May 19, 2005. As the exclusive wireless carrier and handset provider of Celebration III, Cingular will exhibit its Jabba-sized collection of exclusive Star Wars mobile content and out-of-this-world products at Booth #317/Hall D at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
One of the newest products Cingular will be exhibiting at the convention is the exclusive Cingular Star Wars RAZZ Headset. Working with Phonebites Inc., a mobile entertainment and technology company, Cingular recently launched the Star Wars RAZZ Headset, a unique, limited edition mobile accessory preloaded with 10 famous sound clips from the Star Wars saga that can be inserted into live conversations, voicemails and outgoing messages when using a Cingular wireless phone. Retailing for $24.99, the Star Wars RAZZ sound clips include Obi Wan's "The Force will be with you"; Chewbacca's famous roar; and Darth Vader's "You underestimate the power of the Dark Side."Cingular has teamed with THQ Wireless Inc., a global leader in mobile entertainment and subsidiary of THQ to offer the more than 50 million Cingular customers Star Wars downloadable content such as music tones, voice tones of movie quotes, sound effect tones, mobile games, animated screensavers, colorful wallpaper graphics and MMS greeting cards. This content can be downloaded directly from their Cingular wireless handset. Cingular's collection of official Star Wars content, to be rolled out over the next few months, will include nine brand new mobile games; more than 50 animated screensavers; more than 50 MMS greeting cards; more than 100 ringtones; and more than 200 colorful wallpaper graphics. Cingular customers can download their favorite Star Wars ringtones, graphics and greeting cards starting at $1.99. Star Wars games will start at $5.99. Cingular Wireless is offering two limited edition wireless handsets preloaded with free Star Wars content - the Sony Ericsson S710a and the Sony Ericsson Z500a. Both devices will be sold already preloaded with a TIE fighter sound effect ringtone; C-3PO voice ringtone; graphics of Darth Maul and the original Star Wars cast; a Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith game demo with full purchase option; and a video clip. With each purchase of the Z500a, customers will receive via mail-in rebate, one of four Star Wars- themed face plates. In addition, through June 4, when Cingular customers purchase either one of the special preloaded Sony Ericsson devices, they will receive two free movie tickets to see Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. MySpace.com and Cingular Wireless announced an exclusive partnership to offer enhanced MySpace functionality to all Cingular customers via their mobile phones. The deal marks MySpace's largest-scale mobile partnership and gives Cingular's customers exclusive access to MySpace Mobile's tool set including the ability to edit MySpace profiles, view and add friends, post photos and blogs, send and receive MySpace messages, and more from the mobile phone.

Cingular Wireless today introduced the LG CU400, Cingular's first 3G phone to offer Push-to-Talk (PTT) technology. Giving customers the ability to see whether their friends, family or co-workers are available to talk before they call and to connect instantly, PTT allows customers to talk to one person or a group of up to 30 people at the same time with just a push of a button. Customers also have the flexibility to easily convert a PTT call to a regular mobile call and to store up to 99 contacts.
