I had the beta version of this phone for a couple month then sold it about a month ago. I am deffinatly going to be picking one of these up this week, the second I went back to my 710 I missed it. For one the evdo is very fast so no complaints there, Also the menus are layed out much ncer than the 710 and respond a little faster. Also it has better voice recognition software which is nice for example instead of saying name dial John on the e815 you just say call John or call 555-777-9999. If you are into phones the phone has skins instead of color schemes that can be changed, this doesnt do a lot for functionality but if you are into customizing your phone you will enjoy this.
The camera on this phone is much nicer as well, here are some comparison pics for you the are marked int he upper left corner as to what phone they were taken on, anyway hope that helps you make a decision

The features are great, but guess what? You'll have to pay out the a$$ to download every little megabit of video, pictures, and news because almost every profile for Bluetooth is disabled, forcing you to use Verizon's thus far unreliable 3G network that only works in some parts of the country. This also would have had great potential to be a great business phone, but do you think businesses are going to shell out the extra dough for a cable just so they can do something as simple as sync their contacts and emails? BT is so disabled that even if someone calls me in my car which has a Bluetooth-enabled heads-up-display, my car won't even show who's calling because the phone can't transfer phonebooks! Verizon, you just shot yourself in the foot.
Again, Verizon doesn't listen to it's customers and have disabled Bluetooth! I wouldn't be surprised if this phone follows the same horrendous fate as the V710. Can you hear me now? I DON'T THINK SO!
