Coupling a beautiful design with rich functionality including Bluetooth wireless technology, integrated camera, impressive large color display and bold sound quality, the Motorola RAZR enhances consumers' mobile style with T-Mobile's Get More wireless service.
"The ultra-slim silhouette of the Motorola RAZR has become a global symbol for mobile innovation," said Wayne White, vice president of sales for Motorola, Mobile Devices. "With impressive success in the marketplace to-date, it is our pleasure to work with T-Mobile to offer premium connectivity and design to T-Mobile customers."
John Clelland, senior vice president of segment marketing for T-Mobile USA said, "Consumers can now purchase the head-turning Motorola RAZR, and along with it, benefit from T-Mobile's Get More promise of more minutes, features and service. We're excited to further extend our innovative device offerings with this stylish wafer-thin mobile."
The Motorola RAZR excels in design craftsmanship with luxurious metallic finishes and a chemically etched keypad made from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy.
The Motorola RAZR has garnered praise and admiration from consumers and the design industry alike. Most significantly, the handset received a coveted Gold Award in the annual Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEAs). Sponsored by BusinessWeek and run independently by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), a nonprofit association representing the profession of industrial design, the competition encourages corporations from around the globe to showcase their most significant design innovations. This year's contest received 1,380 entries and gave out 148 awards, including only 38 of the honored Golds.
Initially priced at $199.99 from Mobiledia.com, T-Mobile's RAZR supports VoiceMail, caller ID, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting, call hold, built-in paging, and access to 411 And More. In addition, all T-Mobile phones support text and instant messaging (additional charges apply).

I've called InPhonic, since we partner with them, and they said they will be carrying the T-Mobile RAZR V3 around the 20th (give or take a couple days, depending on when their shipment arrives). Right now it's unknown what their pricing will be, but it'll be cheaper than from retail stores charge.

To me, it seems they're slipping behind Cingular as far as having newer more advanced handsets released to the market. As an employee, I waited what seemed an eternity for the T610 to be introduced. Now viewing from the outside looking in, it looks as though Motorola handsets are their main emphasis with an occasional Samsung handset being brought out. Nokia is able to bring out an entry level model here and there and this is mostly what customers have to choose from that's exclusive beyond the Sidekick 2. I must commend T-Mo for staying competitive with their pricing and customer service. I'm afraid of what the market might become once Sprint and Nextel finalize their merger and have an integrated network. I pray the rumors read online that they may look to sell their company don't come true. The news article I read that mentioned the rumor also stated that T- Mobile USA was one of their parent companies most profitable ventures at the moment. D-T should feed T-Mo some cash here in the states to gain a larger marketshare by building on their existing infrastructure. Their GSM signal still seems weak indoors, at least where I live, while Cingular does just fine on their 850-1900 set-up

T-mo is not for sale, and FYI: if they are one of DT's most profitable ventures, DT is in a hell of a lot of trouble, because it is my understanding that T-mo is only now (well, Q1 '05) starting to operate in the black. Prior to that, they had yet to turn a net profit
Im not sure of the exact numbers, cuz i dont work in their accounting dept, but i do know that they are still barely profitable, if at all

If you plan on downloading a bunch of games and ringtones for the t-mobile v3 RAZR you have to wait. I asked customer service when they will be offering these and my response was:
Currently we have no future date for additional ringers and games to be downloaded. Keep checking for new updates.
Sheesh!

Pshhh, if your going to spend that much money on ring tones and games you would be better off to buy a data cable and do it yourself... one time fee for unlimited premuim content

Could some one verifying this please but i think a Tmobil rep is fooling me by saying that the Raz v3 from Tmobile will have video recording enable.
I read couple advertising from Tmobil on the web and they did not mention anything about video recording enable.

i know for a fact that the T-mo razr (not any other version, ie. cingular, or euro) CAN record video.
the mot rep came to the center today, and in addition to learing that the T-mobile did decide to get the phone WITH video record, i was told that the v635 is dead for the states (its out for europe, not gonna come to the US), and i took about a dozen of those wet-suit like beer bottle sleeves and a few of the soft cooler lunch bags.
but i didnt take the display models ...

Haha I got my moto cooler lunch bag 1 1/2 weeks ago ! P.S. V635 is available in Canada with Rogers, so its not just destined for Europe.
