Over the past twelve months, Nokia has been working closely with operators to create stronger product differentiation. In addition to offering consumers the latest mobile technology in a fold design, the Nokia 6102 provides operators with an extended range of customization features.
One of these new features is Nokia Xpress audio messaging, which enables users to record and send a voice message to others over the GPRS network. With the touch of a few buttons, consumers can send their audio message - a holiday greeting, personal congratulations or even a special moment like a grandchild's first words - and share it with others via Nokia Xpress audio messaging. Once a message has been received, it can be stored in the phone and played when desired.
Arriving at Cingular stores this fall, the Nokia 6102 features an easy-to-use menu structure and built-in VGA camera with a dedicated button. Consumers can take colorful videos and pictures that can be shared via MMS or uploaded to an online photo album or printing service. Featuring two bright color displays, the Nokia 6102 can be personalized with animated wallpapers and screensavers.
With an intuitive, easy-to-use fold phone with a compelling feature set, the Nokia 6102 has a classic, sophisticated design that nicely blends in with all situations during a busy day.

I tried one of the 6101 and 6102 from T-Mobile & Cingular ... they both had great strong receptions as usual nokia ..
Only thing was kind a disapointed , is the phone reaction is slower than others flip phone's ..
example to power ON the phone and it bring you to mean menu take longer than others phone , and receive call , make a call .. they act kind a 2 second behind than normal nokia Non flip phone's

It's a pretty good phone. Not as sexy as the RAZR, but better well-rounded.

i've had this phone since late august and have not had a single problem with it. aside from all the handy extras the review describes, i've found that reception and call clarity(to me, the most important features) are both excellent on this phone. battery life actually seems longer than predicted although i've never timed it.
my only gripe is that the stereo hands-free part is unwieldy and gets tangled easily. its not quite as simple to use as a single-earpiece device thats still found on most phones. it doesn't contain a standard audio jack either, so older hands-free devices won't work.
aside from that minor complaint, great phone.
