Motorola today announced that the Motorola PEBL U6 is now on sale in Hong Kong through authorized retailers. Inspired by the feel of a stone worn smooth by water, the oval handset marks a significant evolution in Motorola's mobile design ethos.

Pricing and Availability
The PEBL U6 is available in black for HK$3,480 ($450 USD) and available at Motorola authorized retailers from Oct 17, 2005. The Motorola PEBL is expect to be released in the U.S. in Q4 2005.
I just wish that Verizon would offer this phone ... seems like if you want a new phone that's got a ton of features you need to get out no IN.

Verizon gets the leftovers unfortunately. Just look at the RAZR, the CDMA RAZR is supposed to be out soon... a whole year after Cingular got it.

I heard Motrola was coming out with a range of colors for the PEBL. Is this true? And if so does anyone know what colors?

is the PEBL just a t-mobile phone or is cingular going to be carrying it also once it is available in the states? if not, can you just buy the pebl unlocked and get cingular service?
