Today, Nokia introduced the beta release of its Nokia Podcasting Application, making it easier to discover and download podcasting content on the go.

Nokia N91 More Photos View Specs

Available for the Nokia N91 and other Nokia S60 3rd edition devices, the application lets people to find and download supported audio and video podcasts directly to their Nokia Nseries multimedia computer.

The Nokia Podcasting Application also allows users to play previews while tracks are downloading, download multiple podcasts simultaneously, and even multi-task while downloading in the background. The application can also be personalized by adding new podcasts and directories, sharing and importing OMPL files, and interacting via mobile Internet links to add comments to podcasters blogs or websites. Podcasts downloaded from the PC can also be transferred to the mobile device.

smart move by nokia. there's a cult following around podcasting. once it gets more mainstream everyone will be using it. like tivo for your online radio.
