As the newest member of Motorola's family of music-optimized mobile handsets, the ROKR E2 features a robust MP3 player compatible with a variety of different audio formats, giving users the ability to download and play MP3, WAV, AAC files and more.

Dedicated music keys on the handset's side and front let users navigate playlists, play/pause, skip backward/forward, and hold. With a USB 2.0 cable, it takes only seconds to transfer a song from PC to ROKR E2.

Connect to ROKR E2 via a standard 3.5 mm headset or wirelessly via the built-in stereo Bluetooth audio connection. Motorola offers a wide range of music accessories to optimize the ROKR E2 experience including the newly announced O ROKR Eyewear, Motorola Bluetooth DJ Headphones S805, and JBL OnTour Mobile.

Additionally, ROKR E2 comes with airplane mode, allowing safe listening while flying. Other multimedia features include a 1.3-megapixel camera for pictures, video capture and playback.

The ROKR E2 is available at GOME stores now and will be available broadly later this summer.

The first ROKR was crap. The E2 isn't much different. Walkman phones are the way to go... or at least until the Apple iPhone is launched.

why is the rokr crap? i have no problems with mine, used it for months, everything works, easy navigation. couldn't get better actually (besides the camera)

it's just that there were high hopes for the rokr, then it came out with limited memory and stuff. but it's still a pretty cool phone.

VGA cameras are getting to be a thing of the past now.

SE's Walkman phones overtook Moto's ROKR long ago.

moto needs to remove the restrictions. they'll lose market share at the expense of hording songs.

...last I read, there were no restrictions on the phone, but that was a while back. But if there is a restriction, I hope that more songs can be included than that of 100 from the E1. I like the look of it though.
