Sprint today introduced the Samsung A640, offering consumers several key visual enhancements and personalization features such as an illuminated backlit external display and three user changeable interfaces including a new black and white menu.

Integrated features of the A640 by Samsung include:

- Sprint PCS Ready Link capable
- Bluetooth technology
- VGA camera with digital zoom and self timer
- Full color internal screen
- Voice memo recorder
- Personal organizer

The A640 by Samsung is available through all Sprint retail channels at a price of $199.99 or $49.99 with a two-year contract.
