i'm hoping cingular picks up at least one of these phones. as far as i know i htink they're the only hsdpa carrier

I think the only other carrier competing with Cingular's HSDPA is Verizon.

Right now the only company with UMTS/HDSPA is Cingular. Verizon and Sprint have CDMA Technolody which is totally different. These last 2 have had 3G technology for a while, but Cingular wanted to do it right and lunched directly into 3.5G tecnology which is UMTS/HDSPA.
