Ushering in a new generation of camera phones, the new Samsung A990 from Verizon Wireless integrates an impressive 3.2-megapixel camera, allowing enthusiasts to take high-resolution photos similar in print quality as standalone digital cameras.
The A990's unique swivel-screen design, when rotated 180-degrees, functions horizontally like a camera. Along with the high-resolution and features such as a flash and in-camera photo editing software, the A990 blurs the line between imaging and communication. In addition, A990 boasts a number of media features. VCAST Video lets customers view clips from the hottest names in entertainment, news, sports and more, while VCAST Music gives access to digital music directly on the phone. Through Bluetooth wireless technology users can print pictures wirelessly from the A990 to a Bluetooth-enabled printer. Also supporting Verizon Wireless' VZ Navigator, customers can access maps and audible turn-by-turn navigation to find over 14 million points of interest. - Samsung A990 Review
