Samsung P310 Ultra-Thin 'Credit Card' Phone

Samsung P310 Ultra-Thin 'Credit Card' Phone

Thu Sep 14, 2006 9:05 am

Samsung Electronics today launched the SGH-P310 following the global success of the SGH-P300 'Card Phone.'

The SGH-P310 comes with a newly designed exterior and a revamped abundance of features to take the throne as the 'Card Phone II.' Designers and engineers managed to trim the Card Phone II to a mere 8.5 mm in thickness. The P310 shed the P300's retro look and wrapped itself in an elegant black color. Resembling a simple and clean credit card, the P310's modern design is sure to attract the fashion-conscious and working professionals. The P310 is the ideal companion for business users who desire a stylish premium feather-light mobile.

Hidden underneath the slim outer beauty are assortments of advanced features. The 2-megapixel camera managed to fit in with the music player and video player. The phone stores and saves tunes on the embedded 80 MB memory and in the available external memory slot. It also offers ultimate freedom and control with Bluetooth connectivity. Users can navigate their way around on the large 1.9-inch 262K-color QVGA screen using a new touch sensor soft key. An included case provides extended battery life to power the P310.

The SGH-P310 will be launched to the European market in late September, followed by the Southeast Asian market in later October.

icon_mad.gif Why is it the real cell phone innovation, happens to be happening anywhere but the US. We have been bored to death with the same play on the same phones forever. for 6 years we have been stuff to the gills with the same rehashed ideas. We really need something different here. Why on earth would they not release this phone in the US? The phone and the case that comes with it look great, I would love to see this on the sprint network. icon_wub.gif
