T-Mobile today announced the upcoming availability of the new T-Mobile Dash, delivering voice calling, personal and business email, and Wi-Fi capabilities in a small, sleek package.
Manufactured by HTC and available exclusively from T-Mobile, the Dash is powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 with Direct Push Technology. Encased in a soft-touch exterior and integrating a full QWERTY keyboard, the T-Mobile Dash is ideal for consumers who want to have their email, contacts and calendar on-the-go but are looking for a device they can comfortably use with one hand.
The T-Mobile Dash provides convenient access to personal and business email, instant messaging and text messaging, as well as providing fundamental functions with speakerphone and Bluetooth connectivity for reliable handsfree use. It also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera for capturing important moments and Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for music and video on-the-go.
The T-Mobile Dash is a myFaves-enabled phone, taking advantage of the new wireless communications experience available only through T-Mobile. Customers are empowered with a fun and easy-to-use phone interface which, when coupled with a myFaves rate plan, facilitates unlimited nationwide calling to any five U.S. phone numbers (excluding toll-free and 900 numbers).
Super sleek at just 0.51 inches thin and weighing 4.2 ounces, the T-Mobile Dash is built upon Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 platform, including Outlook Mobile for up-to-date email, calendar and contact information. The T-Mobile Dash also supports the Messaging and Security Feature Pack with Direct Push Technology out-of-the-box, providing instant email and enhanced security features (that let you wipe a device if stolen or require high-security passwords to access information).
Key features of the T-Mobile Dash include:
- Thin, soft-touch design with full QWERTY keyboard
- Access to personal and business email as well as calendar, and contacts with Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile
- Use personal and business email with accounts from Microsoft Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo Mail Plus, Comcast, EarthLink, and many more

went to my local TMobile store today to hold the Dash in my hand and get the feel. It is awesome and I will be purchasing one in two weeks when my contract is up and will open a My faves plan. I have a home wireless network with my PC's on a 802.11 g wifi network and am excited to be able to use my mobile device to work online from ANY room in the house or in my yard.

Went out, bought the new DASH... Sales rep said it has the PUSH technology like RIM (Blackberry)...I guess it does...but, your corporate email has to have Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 otherwise you are out of luck. Good thing they gave me 30 days to return it. Otherwise, the unit is pretty nice... would worry if it falls...seems a little fragile.

Ordered it today and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival, they gave me a deal and delayed payment till my first bill for the new My Faves Family I added with it. Now if only they didn't fib that it would be shipped today and arrive tomorrow with the guaranteed overnight delivery option I chose, just had to get this thing in my hands.
