Motorola and T-Mobile Introduce Laser-Tattooed RAZRs

Wed Oct 18, 2006 9:33 am

Motorola and T-Mobile announced today the upcoming nationwide availability of the RAZR V3 Miami Ink Collection, two new handsets featuring tattoo-inspired designs by Ami James, leading tattoo artist on TLC's hit television series "Miami Ink."

Combining these 'tattoos' designed by the world-famous artist with the RAZR's slender form and multimedia features, the RAZR Miami Ink Collection offers T-Mobile consumers a new twist on the best-selling mobile handset.

Two of Ami's designs - the RAZR V3 in dark pearl gray with Dragon Tattoo and the RAZR V3 in magenta with Cherry Blossom Tattoo - are the first to become available globally from the RAZR V3 Miami Ink Collection. Laser-etched onto the smooth brushed aluminum surface of the RAZR V3, the tattoos turn the slim mobile device into a work of art.

Beneath the design of the RAZR V3 Miami Ink Collection lays the signature slender form of the RAZR V3 with a large-color display. Including an integrated VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, the RAZR V3 Miami Ink Collection makes it easy to see, snap and share memories. An array of communication options including quad-band world-phone technology, convenient picture caller ID and Bluetooth technology give users the ability to juggle work and play with ease.

RAZR V3 Miami Ink Collection also supports T-Mobile's myFaves service, featuring a customizable, fun and easy-to-use phone interface with unlimited any-network calling to the five U.S. phone numbers of those who matter most.

The RAZR V3 Miami Ink Collection will be available exclusively at T-Mobile retail stores, selected dealers and online on October 30, 2006.

Another reason why this nearly three year old phone is the best selling phone of all time.

These things are sweet looking. Sucks I personally don't like the RAZR.

don't understand with the announcement of the new V3t for TMO, which basically brings TMO up to date with the other providers with updated RAZR models they would put these cool designs on the older model phone.
