Motorola recently announced the new SLVR L7e handset, offering a technology makeover over its predecessor, the SLVR L7, with a new metallic blue finish, enhanced multimedia functions and high-speed data access.
The Motorola SLVR L7e provides users with a rich entertainment experience. Incorporating advanced music features including an integrated MP3 / AAC music player coupled with Stereo Bluetooth technology, users can revel in a handsfree music enjoyment.
Adding to the multimedia mix is Progressive Downloading and Video Streaming which give users access music or videos in an instant - long gone are the days of waiting for an entire video or song to download before enjoying. Powered by EDGE Class 10 (Enhanced Data for Global Evolution) technology, the SLVR L7e makes information exchange a breeze by offering immediate mobile connectivity.
The SLVR L7e is complemented with additional features such as a 1.3-megapixel camera with 8x zoom and full screen video capture and playback. Download, save and store more files with an external microSD memory card for up to 1 GB storage capacity. Share photos and videos with family and friends via email or Push-To-Share or Push-To-Talk to instantly connect to one or more people.
Rounding out the multimedia features is the refreshed software interface that includes the Media Editor feature. With this new editing application, pictures can be rotated, sharpened or blurred, picture frames can be added and background colors can be adjusted before sending them out as MMS or to a Bluetooth-enabled printer for printing. The Motorola SLVR L7e will be available in Q4 2006.

Site states that it goes up to 2gb of expandable memory.
And I'm assuming it takes SIM card as well but can anyone confirm?

I never really liked the original sliver, however this one seems a lot better, it may be my next phone instead of a V3x or Krzr
