This will be my next phone, for my NE2, absolutley gorgeous design and lighting, plus the addition of a 256K screen is awesome.

I checked out the specifics for the phone and was impressed. Mostly with the outside screen and looks, and the picture editting capabilities. You can crop/add frames, just do more with pics than was available before. And with a 2MP autofocus camera, I just hope the phone isn't as flawed as the RAZR.

IS going to have the two cameras on it, or did VZW, like Cingular cheapen out and remove it?

Does anyone know if Cingular is getting the Maxx V6? I have Cingular, but am willing to drop them for a better carrier if not, but I might stay if Cingular gets and keeps all the options

Not likely, but I would stick with Cingular, as most carriers are adjusting their rateplans to match those of cingular and Verizon, but we still have the largest all digital network, Rollover, and the largest customer base.

Yes, for the U.S. I wouldn't say you'll find a carrier that's better than Cingular/AT&T or the big V. Unless you're looking for smaller service areas and cheaper pricing for that.

Nice phone though. Sorry vrz. wERE CAN I find out about the unlocked phone with cam? ebay? how much?

The Unlocked version's internal camera won't work for Video, as the HSDPA on that device has been disabled due to the fact that europe uses the 2100 band for HSDPA/UMTS and the US uses 850/1900 on Cingular, the phone is also only a triband 900/1800/1900 so only one band works here in the states, which is great if you have Tmobi, but results in less coverage for cingy however you can pick one up on ebay for around 300 now.

Aint no way Im switching, I love cingular and I get full coverage in the middle of the lake in Clearlake, where I frequently vacation.

Does the The Unlocked version's works on verizon?
and can you use the web with the unlocked version?

You have to remember that the GSM maxx's chipset makes it less capable for Cingular use, if you had a quadband(depending where you live) you'd notice a big change in signal, However the GSM Maxx has a rediculously good Antenna, I get 3 bars outside my house, while the other tribands I've had had zilch signal.
