What is with the screen on the front? Samsung A930 is like that. Annoying having to turn the phone to look at the screen.

Yea, it also looks like we will not get to read texts on the outside screen. It would be pretty tough with 3 lines.
Does anyone know if we will or not?

Just got the LGXV8700. It is a great looking sleek phone. Easy to use and fits nicely to your ear and close to your mouth to speak. It does smudge, but the felt case that it comes with cleans it nicely.
The battery time is awful and I may consider getting a different cell, not sure yet, have to wait a few days, however with the cell on and not having used it a lot, the bars went down quickly.
The wallpaper is cool, gray in color if you choose and animated, maybe that is what takes up the life of the battery.
Great ring tones come with the phone. Great clarity when hearing the other person.
The only problem so far is the battery. I had the razor with an extended battery and that lasted for two days. I feel the battery should last if you are not speaking on the phone.
The phone looks very classy almost like a piece of expensive jewelry, I could picture wealthy people carrying this because it does make a statement.
so far so good, but without good battery life, not worth it just for the looks

I know this is an old post, but I haven't had a problem with battery life, when I first got the phone I was trying to kill it and it took a day or so before I could get it to die.
