The W890i Walkman phone promises to hit the right notes with music lovers and design connoisseurs alike. Its color matched stereo headset and in-built stereo speakers deliver a high-quality listening experience. The W890i incorporates the Walkman Player 3.0, the latest in Walkman technology, which offers one-click access to the player and simple, intuitive navigation around the music.

Not only can users organize tracks by artist, album, or visually using Album Art (the album's front cover artwork) - with the W890i, they can even select music to match the mood. The SensMe music experience automatically plots the music by tempo and mood - letting listeners create a playlist that matches how they feel.

The W890i Walkman phone offers the benefit of an expandable memory, which can be upgraded as the music collection grows. A 2GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) is provided in-box - that equates to storage for up to 1800 songs. If users tire of these, they can tune into their favorite station using the W890i's FM Radio.

The W890i also has HSDPA capabilities to download music at speeds up to four times faster than with regular 3G devices. The phone is fully compatible with Sony Ericsson's PlayNow mobile entertainment experience, providing instant access to the latest content such as full-length music tracks, the mobile games, ringtones or wallpapers.

The W890i's comes with a built-in 3.2-megapixel camera with one-press access so users never miss a shot. Instantly upload photos to a personal online gallery, or 'blogsite,' to let friends see.

The W890i Walkman phone is a HSDPA/UMTS 2100 and GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone and will be available in selected markets from Q1 2008.
