LG today unveiled a limited-edition, 18-carat gold handset as part of a promotion campaign for the upcoming Marvel Studios Iron Man film.
The South Korean company said the gold phone -- modeled after LG's Shine -- will not be sold in stores, but instead be given away to promote the new film."Tony Stark embodies what LG is all about by pushing technology boundaries and insisting on having the most innovative and advanced gadgets," said Ehtisham Rabbani, Marketing Vice President for LG Mobile Phones, "including his mobile phone." Consumers who visit http://www.insidethesuit.com beginning April 15 will also have the chance to win a LG Iron Man phone, worth about $2,000.
