Much? For those type of phones and for the service that Verizon has, that's really not that bad of a deal.of course, you can pay less at Sprint with more inferior service.

Ok explain this, how exactly is it inferior when they use the same exact technology? and sprint doesn't cripple thier handsets like verizon does. hmmm?

They may be crippling their phones but there are ways to fix that. Verizon, however, has a lot better coverage and works more reliably than Sprint, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area.

But sprint and verizon have a roaming agreement. so wherever you can use a verizon phone, you can use a sprint phone. and vice versa.

Ya that may be true, but not only does Verizon have better coverage, Verizon also doesnt have roaming as long as you are in the United States. Sprint goes into roaming very shortly after leave you normal coverage area.

Rofl. That's about the dumbest thing i've ever heard on this forum. have you ever seen thier native coverage map?

Verizon Wireless is expensive but the reason people continue to purchase their services is because they know that their service is stronger. They would much prefer to pay a little extra now to use the phone at all times than to pay a little less and be limited to phone usage times. And as far as the price of the unlimited data, Verizon Wireless's price is pretty low considering the prices you would expect them to charge. Personally, I was happy to see a price that low for a service that great.

Also, VZW has more coverage and with that comes the rights to the towers. Line-of-sight can mess with service, and if it's a VZW tower the line will be less interrupted than with a Sprint device that's roaming and using it.
