Sony Ericsson today announced the T700i, a slim handset built on the heritage of the T610i.

At just 10mm thin, the T700i combines timeless design and premium features. Photos snapped with its 3.2-megapixel camera are viewable on its 2.0-inch TFT display. An integrated MP3 player blasts tracks through high-quality stereo speakers to share the music with friends or through its color-matched headset.

Consumers can transfer files over high-speed HSDPA or Bluetooth wireless connectivity. A 512MB memory card comes included in the box for more ways to expand.

"The slim elegance of the T700i gives users a premium experience at a mid-range price point," said Sven Totte, Head of Marketing for Sony Ericsson. "Everyone who bought and adored the iconic T610i will be keen to get their hands on the new T700i."

The Sony Ericsson T700i will be available in selected markets in the colors Black on Silver, Black on Red and Shining Silver from early Q4 2008.
