Sprint today announced the Motorola Renegade (V950), a slim push-to-talk clamshell built to Military specifications 810F for dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.
Powered by Qualcomm's QChat technology, users can talk to one or a group of up to 20 people with push-to-talk. With EV-DO Rev. A high-speed broadband technology, customers can access Sprint Music Store to download tracks over the air, Sprint Radio for more than 100 local radio stations from across the country, and Sprint TV to Watch live TV, short clips or full-length episodes from channels including CBS, ABC, CNN and more.
Sprint Navigation offers voice-guided and on-screen driving directions, 3D moving maps, local search and real-time intelligent traffic alerts and rerouting.
For football fans, Sprint offers NFL Mobile Live for audio broadcasts of regular season games, live streams of 8 NFL Network games (starting in November 2008), live streams of the NFL Network, team content, and video highlights.
A built-in 2.0-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and embedded flash capture high-resolution images.
The Motorola Renegade is available through Sprint stores for $129.99 with a two-year service agreement and $50 mail-in-rebate.
