LG Electronics and Prada today announced its second handset before the end of the year.
Similar to the highly successful original Prada phone, the LG Prada 2 (KF900) has a hidden secret. In one smooth movement, the ultra-thin keyboard slides from under the handset. The QWERTY keyboard is designed for ease of use. Its metallic feel compliments the slick design aesthetic. The silver keyboard along with the additional on-screen, call and hang-up buttons offers tactility to the original minimal concept. Other enhanced features include 3G compatibility with video calling, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, full-HTML browser, 5.0-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, and Wi-Fi accessibility. The LG Prada 2 will be available with a starting price of 600 euros ($810 USD) though major mobile dealerships in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands in the fourth quarter of 2008.
