AT&T today launched the Pantech Matrix, featuring a unique dual-sliding, double-keypad design.
Similar to its predecessor, the Pantech Duo smartphone, the Matrix has dual slide out keypads. A numeric keypad slides downwards for phone dialing, while a QWERTY keyboard slides outwards from the side for convenient text messaging.
It features a 1.3-megapixel camera for photo capture and video recording. Running on AT&T's high-speed 3G HSDPA network, the Matrix offers AT&T Mobile Music to download full-length songs over-the-air, CV to watch streaming video content, and Video Share calling for live video conversations.
AT&T Navigator provides turn-by-turn directions with maps, guiding travelers to their destination.
The Pantech Matrix is available for $79.99 with a two-year agreement and mail-in rebate.
