Motorola today introduced the Hint QA30, a new slider focused on keeping in touch with social circles.
The Hint has a sleek design with a full-color 2.5-inch widescreen display. Its built-in music player has one-touch music keys to access playback functions with the slider closed. Users can store multimedia on microSD cards and transfer music from a PC via high-speed USB 2.0 connection. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It uses threaded text messaging and instant messaging for a more conversation-like experience. It combines immediate access to email to stay connected to friends and family. The handset also features a dashboard interface, high-speed connectivity and optimized predictive text capabilities.
One-touch SMS access has information on weather, stock prices, sports information, maps and directions. Consumers can surf the web with a PC-like experience by scrolling, zooming in and out, utilizing data caching, bookmarks, cookies and history.
The 2.0-megapixel camera capture photos to share with friends and family.
"Staying in touch with friends and family, keeping networks updated and ensuring constant access to social circles are top priorities for many consumers," said Mark Shockley, Corporate Vice President of Motorola Mobile Devices. "The Motorola Hint is the stylish solution for those multitaskers who are used to having several conversations at once and demand quick, reliable access and communication."
The Motorola Hint QA30 will be available in Q4 2008.
