At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona today Nokia announced its E55 business phone, the smallest Nokia device with a QWERTY keyboard.
At 9.9mm thin, the compact E55 bundles a 2.4-inch screen with automatic landscape support for easier email viewing.
It features full access to email, calendar and contacts through Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes. It also has new noise cancellation technology during calls, and almost one month of standby time.
The company said the E55 will have a predictive engine that can suggest word completions, error completions and automatically learn new words.
It will offer improved company name search, remotely access company directories and the ability to create and receive meeting requests.
The E55 will be one of the first phones to integrate with Nokia's new Ovi apps store. It will have A-GPS on board and N-Gage gaming support as well.
The Nokia E55 will begin shipping in the second quarter of 2009 with an estimated retail price of $340 before taxes and subsidies.
