LG GM730 to Run Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5

Korean cell phone maker LG Electronics today announced the GM730, the first smartphone to use Microsoft's new version of Windows Mobile integrated with LG's "cube" menu interface.
Partnering with Microsoft, LG is the first manufacturer to use Windows Mobile 6.5. The GM730 runs on LG's S-Class User Interface for four customizable home screens built-around a 3D "cube" layout -- turnable with the flick of a finger. LG removed nested menus, providing direct access to applications.The GM730 has a 3.0-inch WQVGA touch screen, 5.0-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1 technology. Users can reach their friends for real-time chat, email and text messages. 'Chat on the Map' is the world's first location-based SNS service to allow users to locate themselves as well as their friends, social network group. "The combination of Windows Mobile and our new 3D S-Class User Interface will make the LG GM730 the most functional and easiest to use smartphone ever created," said Skott Ahn, LG Mobile's President and CEO.
