Verizon Wireless, the country's largest carrier, today announced the LG Versa, a touch screen phone with a detachable QWERTY keyboard.
Ideal for text messaging while keeping a compact size, the new Versa has an attachable leather case with a built-in QWERTY keyboard.Without the keyboard, the Versa is still a usable touch screen device. Its 3.0-inch touch screen offers three different home screens to add shortcuts. An integrated accelerometer rotates the display automatically from portrait to landscape views. The handset also includes a 2.0-megapixel camera and an HTML browser that supports Flash and RSS feeds. The Versa comes with VCAST Music with Rhapsody and VCAST Video services. Users can browse and buy from over 5 million songs and download or stream video from news, sports and entertainment. Productivity tools, such as Visual Voice Mail, allow users to prioritize their messages, while VZ Navigator transforms the handset into a GPS navigation device. The LG Versa will be available online and in stores beginning March 1 for $200 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. - LG Versa Specs
