T-Mobile, the fourth-largest carrier in country, is rewarding select customers with a $50-a-month unlimited talk plan.
The company refused to discuss details, only commenting, "We are offering select customers pricing plans that reward their loyalty to T-Mobile. We do not comment on pricing policy for competitive reasons."
The new deal, a rollout of a test program from San Francisco, is offered to loyal T-Mobile users with at least 22 months of good credit.
A second deal offers $135 credit to customers who switch to T-Mobile from another carrier.

I had been with Aerial, Voice Stream then T-Mobile for years, even though I worked for Sprint. Recently I had to cancel my account due to several months of dropped calls, not receiving messages etc (living in an area that did not have strong signals).
Last week I "finally" got a job and get to move back home. I contacted T-Mobile and they will NOT provide me this plan, why? because I was ONE day short of requesting it be re-instated.
This is loyalty to their faithful customers?

^^^Well, you did cancel their service, so you weren't really all that loyal.

How loyal is loyal? I've been a customer since 1997! way back when t mobile was OMNIPOINT @ $1.00 PER MIN. then they became VOICESTREAM @.50 PER MIN. and now T-MOBILE. newly divorced i didn't qualify for monthly (because i owed a dept. store a small amount of money) so i went for prepay @ a FAITHFUL $50.00 PER WEEK . I was told that if i remained in good standing for six months i could go monthly. Turned down again for the same reason. But if i hung on another six month a monthly plan would be a guarentee! Six months and $2,400.00 later GUESS WHAT? no monthly plan! So what is LOYAL? If I'am dishing out $50.00 a week what's the problem with qualifying for a $39.99 a month plan? $160.01 less to t-mobile. needless to say 12 years later I'm still a LOYAL customer. WHERE IS MY PRIZE? I SAY i'M LONG OVERDUE
YA THINK!

I was offered this plan and also the switch a customer from a different provider and get the bill credit also. We've had service with Tmobile since 2004, never a late payment whatsoever. That being said, we have the home line through tmobile that's done through the DSL. Well since that line piggy backs on to our family plan we can't do the $50.00 unlimited promo because they said they have yet to figure out a way to do so without charging us $50.00 for the home line. what I find really weird is that every time we call in about something they try to offer us this promo which WE then have to tell them it can't be done because of the home line.
