At the annual CTIA wireless show in Las Vegas today, AT&T unveiled the LG Xenon, a messaging phone with a full keypad for text messaging.
The Xenon has a large 2.8-inch touch screen display with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Powered by a customizable user interface, the handset has a home screen menu to quickly access the calendar, alarm clock, play music, add notes, set multiple time zones, and play a slide show from the standby screen.
Users can access friends and family by displaying favorite contacts on the standby screen.
The Xenon snaps 2.0-megapixel photos and offers an image editor and filters to enhance images.
It also features AT&T services such as AT&T Navigator, Napster Mobile, eMusic Mobile and more.
The LG Xenon will be available in black, blue and red starting April 8 for $100.
