Nokia, the world's leading handset maker, today announced the 6600i Slide, its smallest 5.0-megapixel slider.
The Finnish company said that tucked inside the handset's brushed steel shell is an upgraded 5.0-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash.
It features a hidden external screen with "tap commands" to snooze alerts and silence or reject incoming calls. A bright internal 2.2-inch display offers 16 million colors.
The device also comes with a 1GB microSD card -- expandable up to 16GB.
The Nokia 6600i Slide is expected to be launched in the third quarter for $270.
