T-Mobile, the nation's fourth-largest wireless carrier, today launched the Samsung T349, a slim messaging phone with a 20-key, partial QWERTY keypad and XT9 enhanced predictive text for faster text messaging.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based company said the T349 has new XT9 predictive text technology -- improving on T9 to make typing easier.
Multiple messaging options include email, instant message, picture messaging, video messaging and text messaging.
The personal organizer also has an alarm, calendar, calculator, notes, world time, converter, timer and stopwatch.
Popular email client options include as AIM, AOL, Yahoo! and Gmail.
The lime green device features an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, MP3 player, expandable microSD slot and Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology.
The Samsung T349 is priced at $15 with a two-year contract.
