Verizon to Sell Palm Pre, Plans New BlackBerry Storm

Verizon's Chief Executive Lowell McAdam said in a webcast that he hopes to eventually have the highly-anticipated Pre on its network.The Basking Ridge, N.J.-based company also said it would develop a new version of the touch screen BlackBerry Storm but had not announced a timeframe. "Over the next six months or so you will see devices like Palm Pre and a second generation Storm," said McAdam. Earlier this week AT&T's Chief Executive Randall Stephenson also said that he sees his company selling the Pre after Sprint's exclusive deal with the smartphone has expired. Sprint will launch the Pre on June 6 for $200.
