Walt Disney Japan plans to sell movies on memory cards for mobile phones starting in November.
The media and entertainment conglomerate said it will bundle pre-recorded microSD cards with DVDs holding the same content so consumers can watch them at home and on the road.
The portable titles will be compatible with devices such as terrestrial digital broadcasting handsets -- or DVB-H -- and car navigation systems.
Initial movies in the miniature format will include the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "National Treasure" series.
