Sprint to Launch the Samsung Instinct HD

Sprint plans to launch the Samsung Instinct HD -- a touch screen device with a high-definition 5.0-megapixel camera with TV-out connection for playing clips on an HDTV -- this Sunday.
The Overland Park, Kan.-based company said the Instinct HD improves on the Instinct S30, introduced earlier this year, by offering a slimmer profile and HD recording capabilities.In addition to its high-definition camera, the handset also includes an Opera Mobile 9.7 browser, stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, high-speed Internet through 3G EV-D Rev. A technology and a memory card slot. It supports Sprint services such as Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store to purchase multimedia, Sprint Navigator for turn-by-turn directions and Mobile Sync to recover lost data. Sprint said the Instinct HD will go on sale on September 27 for $250 with a two-year contract.
